That is the gap between two annual figures, both GST-inclusive: the one your inputs produce for hipages, and our published price. It is an estimate, not a saving we can promise — what you actually spend depends on the work you win.
How that was worked out: $139 a month × 12 months = $1,668 a year, plus GST. It leaves out lead credits, which hipages charges on top of the plan — so your real figure is likely higher than the one above, not lower.

Figures are quoted as their sources publish them — some plus GST, some GST-inclusive — and are never converted without the conversion being shown. BNI and Yellow Pages are left out because a venue levy or a bundled setup fee cannot honestly be reduced to one number a calculator can use.

Oneflare
Closed 30 June 2026
Oneflare closed on 30 June 2026 and its members were moved across to Airtasker, where work is billed as a share of each job rather than as a subscription. Former members are now billed under Airtasker's published fee range — 12.5%–20% commission plus GST on every completed job — which is a very different shape of cost from a flat subscription: it grows with the size of the job.

We are not claiming those figures caused anything, and we are not claiming Bizroots is the answer for everyone. They are the market a business is choosing from in 2026, printed with their sources so you can check them yourself.
What people ask before they switch
Is Bizroots cheaper than hipages?
That depends on what you pay now, which is exactly why the calculator asks instead of telling. Our side is fixed and published: $10 for your first year, then $49 a year GST-inclusive, locked for life. Your side we cannot know — plans and credit spend differ from tradie to tradie. Put your own invoice figure in and read the result as an estimate.
Do you take a commission on jobs?
No, and we never will. There are no credits, no per-lead fees and 0% commission — every revenue path at Bizroots is the subscription, and enquiries will always be free for a business to receive.
Oneflare closed. What does that mean for me?
Oneflare closed on 30 June 2026 and its members were moved across to Airtasker, where work is billed as a share of each completed job rather than as a subscription. If that is you, pick Oneflare in the calculator — it will use Airtasker's published commission range, because that is what you are billed under now.
Will I get as many leads as I did on hipages?
We cannot promise that, and we will not pretend otherwise. Bizroots is new — what you are buying today is an ABN-verified listing page your business owns. What we do promise is that any enquiry that ever reaches you through Bizroots costs you nothing to receive.
Are the prices GST-inclusive?
Ours are. Every Bizroots price is AUD and GST-inclusive, and your invoices are available any time in the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from the billing page in your dashboard. Some competitor prices are quoted plus GST — where that is the case the calculator adds the 10% before comparing, and says on screen that it has done so.
How do I cancel if it does not work out?
Cancel anytime — there is no lock-in contract. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your listing runs to the end of the year you have paid for. And the $49 renewal is locked for life: the renewal price stored on your account the day you join never goes up.
